Laïla is a Filmmaker, Journalist and Producer based in New York City, most recently with VICE Media. She specializes in creating compelling social, short-form and long-form pieces for television, digital, and streaming platforms with a focus on documentary. She has expertise with different types of editing softwares, cameras, and an original writing style.

As a filmmaker, she seeks to connect with ordinary people and grant them representative autonomy in their environments, something that she finds is often stolen from civilians in the mainstream media. When she’s not working, she’s directing & producing her own feature-length documentary.
